A small number of cookies keep you signed in, remember preferences, and help us understand product usage in aggregate.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies PostAura uses, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Categories we use
We group cookies into three categories:
- Essential — required for the Service to work (authentication, security, CSRF protection). These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
- Preference — remember choices like theme and active workspace. Helpful but optional.
- Analytics — aggregated, de-identified usage metrics. Only loaded if you opt in (where required by law).
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Third-party cookies
When you connect a social account (LinkedIn, Meta, X, Threads, Google), those platforms may set their own cookies during the OAuth flow on their domains. We do not control those cookies — see the relevant platform's privacy notice for details. Google Analytics, when enabled, sets cookies under the _ga family.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
- In-product: use the Cookie Preferences panel available in the footer of every public page to opt in or out of preference and analytics cookies.
- In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their privacy/security settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in.
- Globally: use the aboutcookies.org or your platform's privacy controls.
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it — no penalty, no degraded service beyond features that genuinely require the cookie.
Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
We honor the Sec-GPC: 1 Global Privacy Control signal when received. We do not currently respond to legacy DNT headers because there is no accepted browser standard for how to interpret them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change cookies. Material changes are reflected in the version and updated date at the top of this page.
